(NewsNibs) - In a bid to provide guests with an opportunity to refresh their palates and renew their energy for the upcoming year, a winery has curated an exclusive event for the final weekend of December. The winery is set to feature noteworthy wines, including 'Shorak, White 2022' and 'Shorak, Cabernet Franc 2019,' handpicked to complement the festive atmosphere. Kibbutz Nahshon, the event location, is preparing to welcome guests on Friday, December 29, and Saturday, December 30, for this special event that will run from 11:00 to 15:00 each day.
Diverse Culinary Delights
Further enhancing the celebration, Maluk from Daliyat al-Carmel will be on-site to present a collection of authentic Druze culinary creations. The menu is thoughtfully prepared to cater to a range of dietary preferences, offering delicious options for meat-eaters, vegetarians, and vegans alike. Continuing the focus on high-quality local produce, on Saturday, 'Hashokiya' will participate in the occasion, contributing a selection of premium cheeses from their farm to the event's gastronomic variety.
As attendees savor the local flavors, they will also have the opportunity to experience international wine culture with the addition of an Italian touch. Launching just in time for the event is a special edition semi-dry sparkling white wine named Jacuzzi from Modena, Italy. With a luxurious design and light profile, the wine is positioned as an ideal aperitif that pairs seamlessly with fish, seafood, and cheese dishes. Priced at 30 shekels, Jacuzzi promises to offer a taste of Italian elegance without breaking the bank.
Turning to Trends in Tel Aviv
The winery event coincides with growing trends in the Israeli alcohol market. Tel Aviv has seen a rise in popularity of vermouths, a trend that is gradually extending to the country's periphery. This shift is attributed to the local climate and a culture that favors light, easy-to-drink beverages. Vermouth, often served on ice, is a perfect match for this setting. A recent standout in this category is 'La Quintinye' from France. Master distiller Jean Sebastien Robicquet, known for his innovative spirit, has crafted this extra-dry vermouth imbued with tart citrus, floral, and spice flavors. Based on Pineau des Charentes wines, 'La Quintinye' boasts 17% alcohol content and carries a price tag of 120 shekels.
As the winery at Kibbutz Nahshon blends local culinary arts with global wine trends for its year-end celebration, guests are in for a memorable experience that offers a refreshing outlook for the year ahead. The event promises not only to delight the palate but also to showcase the ever-evolving tastes and preferences of wine and food enthusiasts in Israel.
