(NewsNibs) - The festivity is scheduled for the last weekend of the year, on Friday, December 29th, and Saturday, December 30th, inviting guests to indulge in a culinary journey from 11:00 to 15:00. Among the highlights are the 'Shorak, White 2022' and 'Shorak, Cabernet Franc 2019' wines, set to tantalize the palates of connoisseurs and casual wine lovers alike. The event boasts an array of traditional Druze dishes tailored to satisfy meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans, offering something for every attendee.
International Flavors to Enhance the Experience
Adding to the weekend's indulgence, 'Hashokiya' will be contributing to the celebration with a selection of premium quality cheeses on Saturday. This addition is expected to complement the newly introduced semi-dry white sparkling wine from Modena, Italy, named 'Jacobazzi'. Presented with a unique and luxurious design, 'Jacobazzi' is a light wine, ideal as an aperitif or paired with fish, seafood, and cheese dishes, and is priced at 30 shekels. Implicitly acknowledging the rising trend of vermouth, particularly in Tel Aviv, the event will also showcase this popular aperitif which is increasingly enjoyed on ice.
Vermouth: A Trending Delight
The French 'La Quintinye' vermouth, especially its white variant – distinguished by its very dry taste and rich notes of sour citrus, flowers, and spices – has recently garnered attention. 'La Quintinye' is rooted in Pineau des Charentes wines and comes from the creative expertise of Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, a master distiller well-known in the French spirits industry. This vermouth, containing 17% alcohol, represents the luxurious side of the spectrum with a price tag of 120 shekels.
Kibbutz Nahshon's year-end celebration is more than just a nod to the incoming year; it's a confluence of culture, taste, and craftsmanship. This event is poised to set a benchmark for culinary delights, offering attendees an opportunity to explore flavors from around the world while bidding adieu to the year 2023.
