VICTIMS RUSHED TO HOSPITAL

Twelve individuals involved in the accident sustained injuries and were admitted to hospitals in Zagreb, Rijeka, and Karlovac for urgent medical care. Among the injured is a Moldovan citizen who is scheduled for a transfer from Karlovac to a hospital in Zagreb to undergo surgery. Meanwhile, in Rijeka, one male patient has been released from KBC Rijeka under police watch. At the same facility, Dr. Med. Mirko Grgurev from the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology reported that three patients remain hospitalized but are now in stable condition, with no immediate life-threatening dangers.

ONGOING MEDICAL EFFORTS

The severity of the injuries required a variety of treatments. One patient was promptly moved from the intensive care unit to the Surgery Clinic, an indication of shifting medical needs as recovery progresses. Another individual underwent surgery to address fractures in the right lower leg and hand. A third person is under the specialized care of the Institute for Thoracic Surgery, reflecting the range of medical expertise involved in responding to the incident.
