The Ministry of Home Affairs’ Public Safety division, Police-1 section, released a gazette on Thursday, January 4, officially announcing the promotions. These promotions were authorized by Sub-Secretary Md. Mahbubur Rahman Sheikh, who signed the proclamation by order of the President.
Instructions for New Appointees
Following the announcement, the newly promoted officers were directed to submit their joining reports to the Ministry of Home Affairs' Public Safety division without delay. The election schedule was previously announced by the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), Kazi Habibul Awal, on November 15. According to the schedule, the countrywide elections are set to take place on Sunday, January 7.
