(NewsNibs) - Amid a dynamic push for urban development, Vietnam's Ha Nam and Dien Bien provinces, along with the Hai Duong locality, have announced a total of four new urban and residential development projects, signaling a significant influx of investment aimed at enhancing regional infrastructure and living conditions.

In Ha Nam province, authorities have put forward two substantial initiatives with a combined investment nearing 1,200 billion dong. The first, vocally supported by the Ha Nam Department of Planning and Investment, calls for the establishment of a new 21-hectare urban area west of QL21 in Liem Chung commune, Phu Ly city. With an investment of 551 billion dong, this project is expected to grace the region with synchronized technical infrastructure, 112 row houses covering approximately 15,016 square meters, and a commercial center spanning nearly 2,996 square meters. With a prospective population of about 3,400 people, the project also sets aside about 1,569 square meters for resettlement purposes. This ambitious urban venture aims for completion between 2023 and 2027, with a registration deadline for investors of 9 a.m., January 8, 2024.

The second project put forth by the Ha Nam Department of Planning and Investment envisions a new rural residential area in the communes of Dai Cuong, Nhat Tan, Dong Hoa, and Nhat Tuu within Kim Bang district. With close to 620 billion dong pledged for investment, the project covers more than 9.5 hectares and anticipates a population of approximately 1,288 residents. Slated for completion by 2028, this development promises a modern, well-planned community with solid infrastructure and architectural harmony. The final date for investor registration is January 9, 2024.

Meanwhile, Dien Bien province is promoting the Muong Thanh A urban residential area in Dien Bien Phu city, with preliminary funding pitched at 630 billion dong. This project is designed to cater to around 668 individuals, featuring technical infrastructure over an area of 2,015 square meters and 167 row houses. Additionally, there's provision for resettlement with 25 lots across 1,977 square meters. Construction is projected to finish between the fourth quarter of 2023 and the second quarter of 2026, with an investor registration deadline set for 4:30 p.m., January 1, 2024.

In addition to these initiatives, Hai Duong province's People's Committee has approved the investment principle for a new residential area in the Lương Xá area, Lương Điền commune, Cẩm Giàng district. With over 257 billion dong allocated, this project spans 93,913 square meters and includes residential, technical infrastructure, and commercial developments. The investment aims to address housing needs, foster modern, well-integrated communities, and maximize the effective use of the local land fund through a strategic bidding process for investor selection.
